try going to your local golf club and asking the pro there. he probably knows a place and can order you the golf shoe at a discounted price.

Depends on where you live and what you need done.  Try visiting your local course and/or driving range and see if they have any suggestions.

Does America have the equivalent of an association for Disabled Servicemen?  See if they have any suggestions or at least a contact.

Failing that...since you're retired/disabled military; contact a military golf course nearby, and talk to them.   Since those courses are for active/retired military, my guess would be they might know someone who can get you sorted.
