Where can I find stencils for cutting letters out of wood?

My husband is going to be making our daughters name out of wood to put in her room, and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get free printable stencils for outlining the letters for him to cut?

You can just open up a word processing program, choose a font and then print the letters to whatever size you want.  Print them on card stock, cut them out and trace around them on the wood with a pencil.

Kacky hit the nail on the proverbial head...  Your average word-processing program will have TERRIFIC fonts to use.

I've made serveral dozen signs using that technique... silly road-signs for our ranch-roads, signs for the barn, house, and various gates, and toy / jewelry boxes for the wife and daughters

Your and your husband can either trace the letters onto the wood, Or, GLUE the paper directly to the wood, cut or carve the letters, and then sand the paper off.
