Where can I find temp accommodation in Sydney?

I'm planning to start my study in Sydney in June, where can I find a room under $150 to live temporarily while looking for a permanent one? I will study in UNSW, thanks.

There is a website called Gumtree that has classified ads. They probably list rooms.

Check Tripadvisor.com in the Australia forum for more ideas.

I have no clue how much rooms cost in Bondi Beach, but that's where all the young vagabonds, students & surfer dudes live.
