I have also asked this in 'quotations,' but thought maybe some of you in Seniors may be able to help me if that category does not. I read this in an obituary notice the other day, but there was no author. Does anyone recognize it or know where I can find out? I have googled it but nothing comes up. It is such comforting statement of the passing of a loved one. Thank you for your help.
"When I come to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me, why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long, and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that was once shared, miss me, but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take and each must go alone. When you're lonely and sick of heart, go to the family and friends we know. And bury your sorrows in good memories and deeds. Miss me, but let me go."
