TDI? From what I am seeing - these models will be JUST starting to come in September.

You won't get a "good" deal. You will pay either MSRP or above sticker considering that this car is better than a Toyota Corolla gas-mileage wise and most Toyota dealerships are completely clean of all small vehicles such as the Prius, Yaris and Corolla.

Remember that diesels for VW (in Europe) are nothing new. It is a solid car, and it will very likely outlast many other gasoline based engines and right now - the TDI Jetta is around 24,000 and some change.
