We went through Expedia.com for the 2 Disney cruises we have been on and got a better deal than any other place we checked.

Disney is the smallest (2 ships) and one of the more expensive cruise lines but they are expanding in near future.I think the TIME you go is more important as far as rates than travel agent used.We used Disney's Cruise Line online but went in April and got good rate.Summer months are highest and I would rather go to Caribbean when its cold up north (Feb-April) anyway.Its a lifetime experience to get kids outta school for week.SHOWS on DCL are not matched by any other cruise line.

Well if your experienced then you could book online at some local travel sites, or directly from the website. If you arent experience though I would highly recommend a travel agent as they would walk you through everything and tell you what all you need to do and what paperwork and etc. Then after that it doesnt really matter. Sometimes a travel agent's quote will be a bit more expensive then going somewhere else, but get travel insurance as well. Its a must. Also if you have to fly dont book through the cruise company because you can get so much better deals if you do it yourself. I've done both and I've saved hundreds of dollars doing it on my own.

Go through you local travel agent or Disneycruise.com.

We just got back on the 5th of June from our first cruise and used a local travel agent for that reason.  She was an excellent source of information.  We were a bit nervous because of all the requirements so she walked us through it all.

You really don't save much going anywhere else, plus if you don't use Disney or a travel agent that deals with Disney you  may wind up paying a lot of hidden fees.

It is a great cruise line...you'll have fun.  We can't wait til we can go again.
