Where can I find the cheapest flights from Vancouver to Halifax?

I've been scouring the net for the cheapest flights for Vancouver to Halifax for around October/November but they're surprisingly high. By comparison, I can fly all the way home to the UK from Vancouver for less money and it's almost twice the distance! I'm incredibly flexible with dates. I can only assume I'm not looking in the right places. The cheapest I've found is around $750, which is more expensive than Vancouver to London :-/

You can go with these Airlines............  WestJet,  Sunwing Airlines, Air Canada.

Intra-Canada flights are generally high.  I'm not surprised at $750 on YVR-YHZ.

Try http://www.farecompare.com/fare-search/y... -- to see cheapest months, and sign up for alerts when airlines have sales on this route.

Cheapest I see currently available is $714 r/t for midweek departures in October.  This is with WestJet.  While you're waiting for fare alerts over the upcoming weeks, also try some dates with http://www.bookingbuddy.com which searches Kayak, Orbitz, airlines direct, and many other sources including Canadian airfare consolidator Flight Network which are sometimes cheaper.
