Where can I find the network interface device in a condo?

i live a condo unit, and i can't find this nid!

i see a flat iron sheet covering a big size hole with "telephone" on it, i opened it, i see lots of cable wires for tv, and some tiny wires which look like telephone wires, but i don't see the regular looking NID at all.

i looked around the condo, i can't this NID. i actually don't even see a phoneline coming into the condo at all, could it be that it was buried inside of the condo somewhere?

this condo was built in the 1980's, did they use the NID thing at that time?

So where can I find this thing?

You do not have a nid you have a d-mark or mpoe there should be a big block of phone wires and carbons they look like screws you might need to tone out your line to locate it in the block most condo units specially in the 80s did not mark anything.ask your maintence guy where it is he should know.good luck
