I've recently purchased an Insignia HD radio receiver for my home. I set it up and searched but could not find the old jazz station CD 101.9. I went back online to check where their move was and it said that I would be able to hear them, free, on an HD2 channel. What is that and where would I find it? Nothing in the User Guide indicated that I had an HD2 channel. Is there anyone out there enjoying the old Smooth Jazz sounds on an HD radio and if so, please let me know what frequency you have picked it up on? Looking forward to enjoying those smooth sounds once again.

  1. They're on HD2 of the old frequency. I wasn't paying attention that day, but I think you have to tune to the ole 101.9 first, then switch to HD2 on your radio.

Thi whole thing about HD was arranged by engineers and (as always) they made it as difficuult as possible. They should have had marketing people in there from the beginning.

Check their site, check your instruction book, you'll figure it out. It's there.
