Where can I find the well pump?

Most pumps are way down inside the pipe. It's not easy to take them out. They are not really suited for just anyone to remove.

If you can't hear your pump when it's on.... it's in the pipe. They are not easy to remove by yourself.

Submersible pumps are inside the well casing in the ground.  Shallow well pumps are usually located inside the basement or crawl space.  Either will have a pressure tank and associated controls inside.
