Question:

Where can I find these types of Sam Adams beer?

I'm trying as many Sam Adams beers as I can, and I always keep a bottle for each one I try (I live in the Houston area).

I have 12 so far, so I obviously have aways to go. I'm specifically looking for two - Cream Stout and Double Bock. I've checked grocery stores (they usually just sell the basic lager/ale and occasionally seasonal beer), and Spec's liquor store. Spec's is good for variety packs that occasionally have a new beer, but I have yet to find Cream Stout or Double Bock.

Any suggestions for a great sam adams selection in the Houston area?

  1. I live in Philly, and there is a big selection of Sam Adams Beers here. Maybe I can buy some for you and send it down.

BTW: My brother lives in near Houston.

  2. I know  there are samplers  out there. But since you have mentioned the Bock beers (Dark and Thick ) I guess where ever  you find other Michelob Products. But beer prices are rising now so that is something to consider as well

Snow makes a good point too Christmas is when you find the samplers

  3. Call a restaurant in your area to see if they have it . . .go in, order 1 in the bottle, and take the bottle home . . .Oh, daughter says you can't leave with the bottle. . so wear a long coat   lol . .she says check on line they mail out samplers . . .like 6 different kinds in a pack . . .good luck

  4. You may need to wait until near the Winter holiday season to find the Sams you are looking for.  The Cream Stout is usually packaged as part of a variety pack sold then (and may I recommend my personal favorite from that pack: Old Fezziwig Ale)

    Cheers!

  5. Go to their website and look for locations in the Houston area that carry their beer.

  6. there both winter brews best way to buy them is in the gift packs they have out for Christmas.

  7. South Park and the Apollo space mission: "Houston we have a problem TIMMMY!" (jk) I don't know about how it is in your area, but I'd try either Feldman's or your local HEB should have variety 6 packs, have you tried those?
