Where can I find trade fairs, product expos, networking functions, and other such events in the Bay Area, CA?

Question

The question is pretty straightforward, but I'll elaborate nonetheless. I'm passionate about the environment, and I'm seeking out companies in the San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley area that work toward the betterment of our environment. However, I haven't been able to find many trade fairs, job or product expos, conferences, and other such events. I'm SURE they exist, but I'm not the best at web-researching, so I'm asking the Yahoo community for help!

I would go to the possible sites such a Cow Palace and San Jose fair grounds and check their schedule of events.  Once you find your first one you can go and talk to the groups that present and display for ideas on other events.  I would give you more sites but its been 30 years since I lived in the bay area and I sure things have changed.
