Where can I find waiters for my engagment party?

I live in Brisbane and I would really love some bartenders and waiters but I can't find any.

I totally agree with sue.  I'm on call for banquet serving with a temp agency.  Look in the yellow pages under "staffing".  However, that might be a bit more expensive than just trying to ask local servers at restaurants, since temp agencies ask for a lot of money per hour to cover their expenses, then the server only gets like $12/hr.  I'd go with just asking a server if they'd moonlight and pay them cash.

go to a "temp agency" to find such peoples. There are lots of people signed up at temp agencies wanting small jobs rather than a set long time engagement position.

I do not know what the temporary job agencies are in Brisbane, but know there must be some. They can supply people to any sort of position anyone needs.

Also go to a local establishment, like the lounge at a hotel, and ask the bartender there if s/he knows of any bartenders and waitpersons who want an evening job.
