Where can I get $1500?

Question

I am a student and my husband just went back to work after having a tumor removed. He needs a work truck and we found a great deal, but it is $1500 and our credit is not that good. We can get approved for payday advance loans, but do not want to use them. Does anyone know of a lender that does high risk loans for person to person auto purchases? Please help! We only have 3 days to get the money together!

You should browse local banks for the best deal(trust me there are plenty willing to give money away even with bad credit) rather than credit cards.  Even with bad credit I'm sure credit card companies will give you a $1500 advance, just make sure you pay it off soon as possible because I'm sure APR% will be high.

If you are going to school and can't get a loan.

Go to your school counselor and as about

applying for a Pell grant. if you're a student,

it's money you may not have to pay back.

Do NOT use a payday loan - they are over 500% interest!!!

You can get financing on a vehicle at pretty much ANY dealer.  If your credit is terrible, some used lots will carry their own contracts.  You might pay 20% interest, but that's a heck of alot better than a payday loan.

Those guys are modern day loan sharks.

please dont use payday loans.. there really gonna rip you off... Can you borrow from a family member ?  or sell something ?  using one of those credit card checks ... even thou there expensive probally would not be as bad as a payday loan...
