Some of the very best pizza in Denver, New York or otherwise is Pantaleone's New York Pizza. 2120 S. Holly St. Denver, CO 80222. It is absolutely sinful and wonderful and not a place to go if your are counting calories. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

It is not exactly New York style but Parissi's has some awesome pizza and sandwiches. It is very thin crust and so good and hot. I recommend the prosciutto.  

Also there is a place on 22nd and Larimer ( I want to say) that has Argentinian pizza. Get the special pizza that has egg, hearts of palm and a few other things on it. Trust me. It is a spanish restaurant that is cheap but the special pizza is good.

Also try the Walnut Room. they have live music and their special pizza with candied walnuts is great.

I have always like Anthony's Pizza, not sure if that is New York enough but they claim to be. Also try Abo's Pizza, at Quebec and Arapahoe.
