Where can I get REAL Chinese food from?

Food they actually eat in China... Like everyday stuff... not just some Chinese take-away place...

  8. well i would say china but if you dont want to go thet far just wait till your local chinese is closing and go in and see what there eating. i used to rent from the owners of a chinese place and what they were eating when the doors where not open was not on the menu.raw fish with the head on

  9. If ye dive intae one of yon chinese supermarkets, ye can pick up most of the stuff that they eat in China. Ask the wee fella/wifie, what ye dae wi' it. They will gie ye some pointers and ye can cook the stuff almost the same way that the wee Chinese folk dae. Guid luck.

    I was in Hong Kong and had real Chinese food to be honest I am not sure my European palate was quite ready for it!

  17. Your best bet is to make your own with ingredients from a Chinese food wholesaler, you will be able to find one on the net I'm sure.

  18. Best thing to do would be to go to the local stores they have in "chinatown" districts. They tend to stock products from China / Hong Kong. Although obviously not cooked...
