Where can I get Video Editing software so I can edit video from my Panasonic 40gb HDD camcor?

The camera comes with VidCam suite 1.0, But the software seems to not work very well. It allows me to copy the video from my Cam hard drive to my PC. But if I try to load the video copied into Windows Movie Maker It only brings it in as an Audio file...

The type of file my system says it is is "Movie Clip"

The best app would be Adobe Premier Pro which will handle the h.264 Blueray codec.
