Where can I get a book published?

So for future references- I'm writing this short book for my senior project and I want to get it published. However I need it to be cheap- I'm a high school student and I'm not made of money. But I don't want to make copies or anything like that, just for it to be binded and look like a book you would would checkout at a library you know? I just need one copy for my presentation so it looks like I accomplished something over the school year... Does anyone know how I can make this happen? Thanks for your input! :)

  1. Since you're only talking about 1 copy (I'd make 2 in case the teacher keeps the original) I won't give the standard lecture about never paying to publish or the horrors of self-publishing.  This sounds like ca simple school assignment.

Go to a copying/printing place & they'll xerox the original.  They'll have binders ranging from heavy-weight paper to an almost-cardboard one.  You can choose a plastic one if it's available.

They can spiral bound it for you or glue it togetherr.  Go with the spiral or the plastic paper enclosures because it's much easier for the pages to lay flat.

If you go w/ heavy duty paper covering you could put some artwork on it.

  2. Costco or Sam's Club
