Where can I get a budgie (bird)? I live in Long Island NY.?

You can get budgies just about anywhere. Pet stores often have them for as little as $10 if you just want to watch it play in it's cage.

You can also find a breeder in your area if you're thinking about getting a bird that's been hand raised and is tame (simply google it or check out places like birdbreeders.com or other similar sites).

There are also always people selling their birds. You can look in your local paper, or on sites like craigslist or freecycle in your area.
