Where can I get a download of the driver for a Canon ZR40 Digital Video Camera??

I lost the cd rom, and can't find the driver online anywhere! The camera is not that old! Does anyone have a copy?

  1. You can't find it anywhere because USB for DV transfer is not supported. What is supported is firewire transfer by connecting a firewire cable to the DV port of your miniDV tape camcorder to the firewire port of your computer.

    If your computer does not have a firewire port, hopefully it has an expansion slot so you can add a firewire port.

    Firewire400, IEEE1394a, DV and i.LINK are all the same thing.

    A USB-Firewire converter/adapter will not work.
