Where can I get a free boat 30 ft. or biger ?

I was given a 37ft. boat by the state of oregon , I flew from alaska to here and was told to "take a hike by the local sheriff , HE wanted the boat so now I'm HIGH and DRY , pun intended , Can ANY one help find me a boat ? thanks !

There is many free boats on Craiglist..  Right now there is a free McGregor 22' sailboat in Ft Lauderdale.  FREE...  Many many free boats in Florida being given away all the time on Craiglist Ft Myers.

Actually, a lot of boat salvage yards have 'em. They will be glad to give you at least one... the only catch will be - the condition they are in, and the expense of having them hauled away... most "give-away" boats are going to be too large for you to trailer... which means you have to pay a boat mover to move it - and the fact that - most will not be at all seaworthy without a major refit, rebuild, repairs...

I suggest you try building your own... you can find plans, instructions on a host of internet sites ( I personally like Glen-L.com). By doing this, you could end up with a really great boat at a fraction of the cost of a new or even late model...

Furthermore, you can find plans, and build to suit your own needs and desires for whatever type of boating you want. But my kudos go to the response that said: "You get what you pay for."

I would take exception with the sheriff. If you were given the boat by the state, it is yours, and the local sheriff has no way to confiscate it. Contact whomever gave you the boat, and ask for their help. If necessary, call the Oregon State Police.
