  1. I get free eye tests every year on the NHS @ any Optician.

    If you are over Forty years of age, just tell them you had a parent who had Glaucoma & this entitles you to a free eye test.

    My Father had Glaucoma & so did my Grand-Mother.

    So I am entitled.

    If you are on state Benefits you also qualify, or if you are in Full Time Education, or under 18 years of age.

  2. just tell the optician that one of your parents has glaucoma,and they have to give you a free eye test.

  3. what ever you do don't lie to get a free eye test by saying a relative has glaucoma... the NHS do thorough checks and there may be consequences if you have lied.

    You get a free eye test on the NHS if:

    * you are under 16

    * you are under 19 and in full time education

    * you are over 40 and are the brother/sister/child of somone who has glaucoma

    *your diabetic or you have glaucoma

    *your on benefits (such as tax credits, pension credit, income support)

    * you have a complex lense ( if your prescription is over -10.00 or +10.00.

    If not keep an eye out in the paper and magazines, somtimes specsavers offer free eye test vouchers when you buy a pair of specs.

  4. you get one free eye test on the NHS per year i believe so you can go to any of them. specsavers usually have a buy one get one free offer.
