Where can I get a good Monte Cristo in Detroit? Since Bennigans closed, I'm lost.?

I am not sure where you can get a good monte cristo, I dont think I have had one in 10 years.  Here is a recipe that claims to be like bennigans.  I hope this helps.  Happy eating to you.

I think Tink is talking about Bakers of Milford.  I would also bet that Gest Omelettes (14 & Haggerty) would make a good one.

If you ever get out to Kensington Metro park you can get one out there....I cant remember the name of the place, but head out there, get off at the exit before the park (milford road)....you will go a north a couple of miles, then come across a party store, the restaraunt in question, and a dairy queen - if you pass the dairy queen you've gone too far.

Only decent one I have had.
