Where can I get a good Night Vision Rifle scope?

I'd love to find a Generation 3 or 4, but I don't have a huge budget so Generation 1 or Generation 2 will probably do just fine. I'm looking for a 1X to 4X magnification scope that will mount on a Picatinny Rail, and cost under $1,000. Maybe military surplus?

You probably wont find what you are looking for for the budget you are sitting on.  Even Gen 1 scopes are big money and the military wont sell surplus night vision, they usually just pass it on to other units that are requesting it.  You can check Cablelas as I know they sell night vision scopes, but again you will be paying big money for them.

here are a couple of neat new toys also but they are up around $2000

One is sort of a video camera that mounts on a rail and allows you to shoot around corners and also converts your regular scope to NV

If you plan on using this for hunting purposes you might want to check your laws. Some states do not allow any form of night vision or thermal imaging while in the act of hunting.
