I didn't realize there was more to it than the ingredients.

  1. Are you looking for brand names of food products that follow the rules, or are you looking for the rules?  It isn't as simple as saying that beef is kosher, but pork is not, because the beef isn't kosher either unless it has been prepared properly and under rabbinical supervision.

  2. Assuming you are Aussie, here is a site you may want to visit

    www.kosher.org.au/

It has general kosher information to retailers of kosher food

  3. well, honestly, the bible has all the rules, try readin leviticus. its all in there.

and yes, there is more to it than just the ingrediants. although kosher mostly regards the kinds of meats andtheir origin. there are a few rules, for example the one that says meat has to be cut, not torn or the one that says that meat cannot be prepared in dairy.

  4. Well, I keep kosher. Here is a partial list from the top of my head:

No pork, no shellfish(such as shrimp, lobster, crab), no mixing milk and meat, you have to have the meat blessed by a rabbi, there are certain parts of the animal you CAN NOT eat, such as hooves. THat's all i can think of. nut there is a lot more to it. I hope this helped a little bit.
