Where can I get a list of charities?

Question

I am thinking of doing skydiving for charity and was wondering if there are lists online of charities so I can chose which one I want to fundraise for.

Im particularly interested in charities in Northern Ireland as that is where I am from.

The "Directory of Fundraising Trusts" is what you're after. It's a large book listing all trusts nationwide, how much they donate each year and in which "charitable" areas they specialise, which will be really helpful to you in pinpointing who to approach.

I know England is certainly included, but you should check if it covers Northern Ireland or other areas.

Why not try the larger, nationally known charities?
