Where can I get a pet raven?

I think it would be cool to have one...Is it legal? IS there a specail pet store? Do I need to catch one? If it's illegal is there a legal way to adopt one?

If you are in the U.S., sorry to say but it is illegal to own a crow or a raven.  You can adopt one however from a breeder that breeds an african breed of crow.  They are quite magestic, white and black.  Yahoo has a group on crows.  It's called Crows as Friends.  You may want to join this group to get qualified, good information from the people that have crows (most of them are rescues).  But educate yourself thoroughly before taking on this responsibility.

It is illegal to own ANY native wild bird in the US..and NO, even more illegal to capture one.  You CAN  legally purchase non-native ravens and crows that are specifically bred to be pets. Look here for more info:

ravens are wild animals and should stay that way . . and the goes for ALL wild animals . .  they aren't peoples pets!

it isn't fair to them and is cruel to the bird no matter what way people see it. .  appreciate them when you are walking about a park instead =)
