Where can I get a piercing in Melbourne without parental consent?

i'm 16 and want to get my septum pierced.

i'm having trouble finding somewhere that doesn't require parental consent.

I think you will find it VERY hard to find a business willing to do any type of piercing if underage, sorry.

They've come down hard on it, just like selling smokes and drink to underage... they could get fined big time if they get caught.

They can't risk it either as even though you 'really want it done', for all the store knows you could be working for the police or someone as an undercover to see if they will do it.  

That is how they catch them out.

when i was too young for piercings i went to ringwood tattoo and body.

i got my nose pierced there, three piercings on the top of my ear, snake bites and my tongue.

according to the guy that works there

'there is no law about piercings but most places wont give people under 16 piercings"

im 17 now and got all those piercings when i was 15.

i took them all out to get a job and just recently got my tongue re-pierced at off ya tree in eastland. if you are 16 you could go anywhere in ringwood, on the belgrave/lilydale train line. (and possibly just anywhere but i only know my area)
