Where can I get a recycle box?

Hi all!

I work at a restaurant as a host, and I noticed that we use TONS of paper every day, so do the servers. We don't have a recycling box, and I hate seeing all that paper go to waste. I told my manager that we should get some recycling bins, but she said if I could get them, she would put the around the restaurant. So does anyone know where I can get some bins, even if it's those carton ones. Thanks everyone.

call Borden Waste-away....they have small bins available for rental that comes with removal. Trash cans on wheels work well also but then you have to take it to a center to recycle yourself. Make sure the paper is recyclable before tossing.

Talk to your manager about donating foods to local panties or The Window. For food transport of perishables or non perishables call Camelot Hauling.  For more info on this call JC at 574-537-1808. This is a new business not yet int he phone book. I would love to speak with your manager regarding donation of perishable items. There could be tax deductions for the restaurant!

you can pick up blue boxes in georgina at any of the libraries, and the civic centre town offices.  the lg blue are $5 until Dec.  if you are looking for recycling bins ,(dumpster type) you have a few options......  If you contact the town offices 905-476-4301 and ask for public works.

Do a Google search (or Yahoo) for "paper recycle" limited to your geographic area.  There is bound to be a company that recycles paper in your area and they would be happy to provide a paper dumpster (which you will need unless you are planning on bringing the paper to the recycling plant yourself).

As for individual bins, again I recommend doing a Google search.  There are several companies online that sell recycle bins for all of the popular types (paper, plastic, glass, and aluminum).

I'm not sure where you can get some bins, but what we did was take a box, cover it in blue paper, and draw the recycle sign on it. We put all our recycables there.

i think dat u can try makin it urself its simlple

if u would like 2 : jus

collect som papers and den soak in water 4 a day

n den pat it dry and dry it in the sun wen its half dry shape it as u like

I notice that your manager said she would but bins around the restaurant so you do not need to bet the really big bins. You can go to a dollar store or Wal Mart and get some plastic bins, maybe even as small as the shoe box size. I know that most of the paper used there will be smaller than the average sheet so that would be good.

As for when they are full....call your local goverment and ask if you have recycling in your area. They can supply a larger bin to empty the small on into and they will pick up.
