Where can I get a road bike for $200 or less?

i'm looking for a decent one that functions well and is fast and smooth. Nothing to nice but nice enough to satisfy me for a while. New or used, any places in Oregon or a website? i tried craigslist but any other places?

Try your local flea market or garage sales.  Don't expect a lot for $200...

EBay is another choice, also try roadbikereview.com ads. But used if you want a bike as you described. Keep an eye on Craig's list too, new stuff comes out all the time.

"Decent"?? Not a chance. Sorry...Not even used at that price.

Your best bet is craigslist. Every once in a while you may find an 80s bike on sale there, maybe a Cannondale or a Trek, or if you get lucky maybe a vintage Bianchi. Be patient and keep your eyes open.
