Where can I get a small fan for my car?

Question

My car is about 18 years old and the AC unit leaks Freon so, suffice it to say, it doesn't work anymore. The car has black leather interior (oooh, fancy... jk) and turns into an oven in the heat, especially since I'm now going to school in Florida.

So you see the predicament I'm in, my question is where can I find a small fan that I can either plug into the cig lighter or that runs on solar energy, that can be secured in the front of the car (dashboard, visor, etc) that won't obstruct my view?

i dunno where you live, but here in canada we have a store called Canadian Tire (google it if ur intrested), it sells pretty much anything to do with your house, car, etc....they sell 12volt fans for cigarette lighter (we bought one to keep our dogs cool in the car when were driving), and they now have solar powered ones that either stick to your windsheild or mount to your visor or something...very good idea!

if you go to any store like target, wall mart, or an auto store they have fans you can buy to put in your cig lighter.

I have a six inch fan that i usein my truck and it really works great.I got mean at wal - mart .It just plugs into the 12 volt plug,If there's away that you can leave your windows cracked ,if not be a 1/8 of inch it would help with the heatwhy it's parked.The fan works well with the window down about 3 inches.

Computer fans are 12v and can safely run off of the car 12v system.

When you park your car, cover the windshield (from the inside or outside).  The dashboard is always black and that's where most of the heat comes from.

Some people (especially in Hawaii) cover it with dark carpet material.
