Where can I get a twist into place pull up bar??

Question

One of those ones where it requires no screws. Twist in. What store can I get it at? I bought the sports authority one, they sell c**p. When I was s******g in the brackets, the s***w stripped its self..it was made out of like ..tin

Try this. Go to a drug store and buy a pair of cane or crutch rubber tips, they're about 5 bucks. Take those and go to a metal shop or a welding shop. Ask them if they could make you a chin up bar that works like a shower curtain rod, screws and unscrews to lengthen or shorten, (and that the rubber tips fit on). Be sure to measure your door way also. Paint it with some good anti-rust paint and you should be good to go.

I got one at Big 5 sporting goods.  No tools, just twist tight.  I've never had it come down.
