Where can I get a yard waste garbage bin?

I live in Minneapolis and I've been to every website I can think of but they just say set your stuff out next to your bin in garbage bags. The problem is, I just moved to a new place and have pulled out enough weeds to fill 10 garbage bags and I'm less than half way done! I'd rather not waste the bags and just get a green bin! It would make things much easier! Is this possible and how do I do it?

In my area you have three choices:

1.  Compost in your yard (see www.howtocompost.org for tips)

2.  Put it in the paper yard waste recycling bags for your trash  company to haul off.

3.  Put it in the back of a pick up truck bed and take it to your community composting area.  There is usually a drop off fee.

Check with your local trash service provider to make sure.  Unfortunately, at least in my area the paper bag means of disposing at the curb is *required*.  Perhaps you could propose a green bin and make millions!!  I would buy one...
