Where can I get an International shipping agency in US..?

I am from Benin Republic and want to purchase a car from a car auction site in the US and I don't know how and what process I could use to get this car delivered down to me in my country in Africa. Pls does anybody have any alternative for me?

Warning: Besides price, you want to ask some questions.

1. Will the vehicle be shipped on "The Deck" of the vessel?

You don't want this because of salt water exposure to all metal parts.

2. Will the vehicle be put in a container? If so, will it be chained down to prevent movement?

I worked on the Island of Antigua. A couple returned to the US. Their Toyota truck was put in a container and NOT secured. When it arrived in Florida, it was a total loss from being beat, front and back, side to side in the container.

Make sure the vehicle is insured. You will have to sign a pile of paper work for vehicle export.It will be inspected for drugs and contraband. Make absolutely sure that no drugs of any kind have been in the vehicle. (The DOG will know).

I suggest you photograph the vehicle when transferring custody of the vehicle from you to the shipping company.
