Where can I get an amp for this type of earphone?

SENNHEISER HD 280PRO 3.5mm Connector Circumaural PROFESSIONAL Headphone

I have it hooked up to a lcd tv with xbox360, it has fantastic sounds, it picks up every little detail, just one it leaves out. bass!

If it had better bass it will be way more than fantastic, Is there anyway I get a amp for these, I heard I need an amp to get the most of these, what brand is the best for say around 50 bucks or less. Please only people with audio expirence answer, thanks in advance!

Why would a different amp give you better bass response in headphones?

The review at the link points out that "HD 280s' bass response is already some 5dB down at 110Hz, dribbling down to -10dB at about 50Hz." so technically they don't have a strong bass end (few open headhones do). But the solution -- if this is really a problem -- is equalization ... much less expensive than a new amp (particularly since it won't solve the "problem").

I use to own the HD280, and personally, they are not going to improve with an amp. I have tried, and I own a few portable amps, even ones with warm signatures. I recommend selling that headphone if you can and put it towards another headphone. The recommendation I gave if you want good strong bass would be the Beyerdynamic DT770. They are a bit high priced, but the sound quality is amazing. My current favorite headphone. It might be a good idea to buy it used for cheaper via Ebay. If you want more suggestions, I recommend heading over to www.headfi.org. It's a forum dedicated to headphones and related components.
