Where can I get backround information on people?

I s there any website that tells me information about people? i mean websites like the ones that u type in a name and it tells u about things like divorces and their age. any website thats free? besides peoplefinder.com?

The bottom line is that if you want information about a particular person, you have to research it yourself.  Records come from many different places. A person could be married six times and got married in six different places; therefore, you would have to research six different places to get all of the records.   There is no central one stop shop database.  

You could try this one though.  It might help you with ages and family members.

No, not for free.

Stop and think, dear. If you could get a 3-course meal for free, from any business that had a drinking fountain, would Denny's or McDonald's stay in business?

By the same token, if there was a free background checking web site, would the ones that charge money stay in business?

If you pay a credit reporting agency you can learn about them. You'd have to lie and say you were a landlord checking out prospective tenants.
