  1. http://farechase.yahoo.com/

Yahoo! FareChase is a web-based travel search engine designed to help you locate the best airfares and hotel rates on the Internet. Yahoo! FareChase is not a travel agency, it is a search engine designed to save you both time and money by providing you with comparison shopping options from travel providers and other popular travel websites. When you're ready to book, Yahoo! FareChase displays the travel provider's website so you can make your purchase directly on the travel provider's site.

  2. there are no super cheap flights to germany, but you can find some good rates.  try www.1800flyeurope.com or www.mcflight.de

  3. Your best bet is to travel prior to high season. If you can swing it May has always ben a good travel month. I found fares at quite a few airlines for under EURO 380 (w/o taxes). If your looking to fly in June, I found a flight out of Chicago that cost almost EURO 500 on Iberia. Here is ther fare info: IATADE/QKAX1MUS/1/1/IB/Q

Count on having to take connecting flights. The site that I have included below is in German and in EUROs. I found it through a standard Google run. Take some time and look around.

Also, Expedia is truly quite good. In the off-season I flew through ATL to ORD and paid about EURO 330 - incredible price.

    Good luck.

  4. http://www.flights.com

that's what I have used recently, and you can go so cheaply depending upon which airline you fly and when!

  5. I just bought rt tickets to Frankfurt from NWA for mid-June; they were NOT cheap.  The World Cup games in Germany this June and July are well attended; therefore, the few bargains available are gone, faster than a penalty kick.  Icelandic Air does have pretty good rates, and, if you subscribe to their email list, offer last minute fares that are "cheap".  Good Luck!
