Where can I get cheap furniture?

Do you know where I can buy new, cheap furniture that looks good? I'm kinda on a tight budget.

I bought some of my furniture on Ebay and some on Craigslist.  Ebay is easier to sort through the photos.  Just select local auctions to find out what you can buy and pick up in your area.  Also try thrift stores.

My girlfriend used to work at an apartment complex. People would move out and for what ever reason they would leave behind couches dressers, coffee tables lamps, ect.... The complex would move it out to an area near the dumpster ( not in it ), and it is up for grabs. They would have to pay to get rid of it, so anyone could take it. l got a Lazy Boy couch with a recliner on each end. looks great , not 1 stain , works great too. l know it doesn't sound like a good way to furnish your house, but if you get what is good enought for now, you can find better stull and give the older stuff away, lt's amazing what people leave behind. To get new furniture cheap I would recommend Ikea. They are known for trying to cut cost on products, but this generally means that you'll put it together yourself. Mostly a modern/contemporary look. So if that's your style and you don't mind assembling it, I'd say it's a good choice.
