Where can I get comic books CGC graded?

I have a lot of comic books and I want to get some CGC graded but I don't want to have to send them somewhere. I live in santa rosa, CA. close to san francisco. I am thinking about selling some but I want to get them graded for more money.

You only have two choices: either send them to CGC, or go to a comics convention where they do on-site grading. There is no other way, it's not like they can just come to your house.

I sent a few books in with a comic store owner who was getting a few of his graded. But the others I have I either bought graded, or got graded on site at a convention.

What books were you planning to get graded?

I know this may seem like a stupid answer, but have you checked with your local sellers or book stores?  How about looking online for people in your own area?  Personally, I've had the best luck talking to people in smaller comic book stores.  They usually are really open and able to give suggestions.
