I'm going to be working a job that doesn't give health insurance. I'm a pretty healthy guy and I don't need to go to the doctor much. I don't know much about this stuff. What are my options and what will it cost me? I'm 22 male.

  1. There are several on-line services that can assist you in getting a quote.  Two of the more reliable are :

    http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2952034-1...

Because they specialize and partner with numerous health insurance providers, you are more likely to get better coverage at a better rate through them verses calling around to individual agents.

    I hope this helps!

  2. I could not completely make certain that my answer is the ideal one for you,it should be useful though, check out here.http://health-insurance.expert-tip.info/...

  3. Check out http://www.ez-insurancefinder.com good site with info and quotes from top providers. Get something wtih a high deductible so your premiums are lower since you said you're pretty healthy. My guess is this is for "just in case" moments. So save yourself some money and just before not to break anything for the next 5 months.

  4. You can get a short term medical policy to cover you for 5 months for catastrophic occurrences. Visit a local independent agent to find the best plan in your area. The agent can explain the coverage. You are not charged any extra using an agent. The company, benefits and premium will vary by location but in my state you can get a $1000 deductible plan for $38 per month.

  5. try aetna they are offering health insurance which is reasonable. i own a business and insurance for my family is 5hundred a month . get the information it won't hurt.

  6. You are very young, so short term medical will be very affordable. Visit http://www.SmedleyInsuranceGroup.com and use to click to call form on the front page. A knowledgeable agent specializing in short term medical insurance will call you instantly and will set you in the right direction. You can be covered as soon as tomorrow and can even apply by phone.

  7. You can do some online searches or just go to one of the multi-company sites like http://www.lvhealthins.com or http://www.healthinstx.com

  8. Like the other commenter, Zarnev, said, the cost of coverage can vary widely depending on the state in which you live. I work for eHealthInsurance where you can compare quotes on long-term and short-term health insurance plans to find the best match for your needs and budget, and then apply for coverage online.  It may be a good idea to talk to a licensed agent (whether in your area or through eHealthInsurance.com) to find out if a short-term plan really makes sense for you.

  9. KAISER!!!! That was exactly what we had to do.

If you go to the link below you can get a quickie quote on the price!

  10. Depends on where you live and what coverage you want.  The better the coverage the more it costs.

Perhaps you could just get catastrophic.  Or you could get dental from a local office.

Check with your state and see if they offer any policies.  I know the big carriers sometimes offer policies statewide.

If you're feeling lucky, you can just put aside money each paycheck in an account to be used just in case you need to go to a doctor.

You'll probably have to do your own searching in your locale for what's offered and what you qualify for.
