Where can I get drivers or program to tell me what drivers I need?

Question

Emachines 270 computer. Missing sm bus controller drivers and usb controller drivers (highlighted in device manager)

I need to find where I can download the drivers or a program to tell me exactly which drivers I need.

The computer in question is not hooked up to the net so this is the reason for need a website or program

well,if you dont have internet connection of course there is no way to search the net but when i go to find updates or problems with drivers,it will ask me if i want them to search the computer and/or the internet,chose 'search computer'.

I would go to the emachine website for the drivers...

Seems like you are missing a drivers disk that should have been one of the three recovery disks included with your system...

emachine also has a live chat on their website -

From your description i would believe you need the motherboard/chip set...

double check emachine model as the one specified above does not seem to exist. below find the emachines web site.
