Where can I get free mulch in Victorville Ca?

I know LA county has a free mulch program but my friend just moved to Victorville and we are wondering if there is a program like that in this area. Any info would be appreciated!

Try calling the local dump or City/County Waste recycling Division or Program.  Some landfills on a separate area where the green waste is taken and mulched and is offered for free if you pick it it up.

I used to get mine at the dump but you can end up with cigarette butts and shredded plastic with it.  Now I use tree cutting companies.  Sometimes they cut down more trees than they can use the mulch for.  Some of them charge by the truck load, but I found one that will actually come over and dump it in my yard for me.  And that one is free!
