Where can I get free non-limewire music?

Where can I find music (not from limewire!) for free? I tried emp3world but most of their links don't work.

Beemp3.com is a good choice. It features lots of new mp3s and provides some links to the original files. You can find most popular music on there, however not immediately after it has come out.There are a range of genres but mostly popular and I think it lacks in its range of classical music.
