  1. Yes Pho is a good choice...

  2. I'd recommend Viet on Greek Street in London:

    Viet

    34 Greek Street

    London

    W1D 5DJ

I was taken there by my friend Suzy who has a Vietnamese boyfriend. I've been back there many times since, I love the squid rings. It's cheap, authetic, tasty and the service is amusingly blunt.

  3. The bottom of Kingsland Road (or top of Shoreditch High Street, depending on your inclination) has some excellent Vietnamese restaurants. Pho is but one of the things they do quite well. Viet Hoa is good, as are many others.

  4. I think a place called Bam-Bou also does Vietnamese - looks quite cool!

  5. Definitely Pho in St. Johns street. Run by a great English guy who spent time in Vietnam. They are opening another restaurant in Goodge street soon.
