  1. Good cheap swords is a contradiction in terms.

    By their very nature samurai swords, "katanas", are difficult and time-consuming to make with any sort of quality.  Only a handful of people have the neccessary skills.  This means that any decent sword is priced at a premium.

    Unless you just want something that just looks cool, then you should check out the "K-Bud" catalog.
