I am going to Glasgow in September (yep you guessed it, for the Robbie Williams concert) and I will be staying for about 4 days.

I am staying in Union St in the centre of Glasgow and wondered if you had any recommendations for evening meals (preferably chinese or indian) and where I can get a nice Sunday Roast.

  1. For Chinese, it depends on how expensive you want to go. I prefer the China Buffet King, and these are dotted around the City with the best one in Sauchiehall Street - can't miss it.

If you're going a little more expensive, you'll be spoilt for choice. The best one I've come across is Peking House on Hope Street (corner of West Regent Street), but you can also go for a great deal more in the Orient other than Chinese, with places like Mao in Merchant City (V tasty!).

As for Indian, in the City Centre go no-where other than Dhabba, Merchant City - tops them all!

Hope this helps. I'll be expanding on these in due course from my page below.

  2. WE ARE ALL MADE UP OF CHEESEBURGER!

once upon a time...the up above was bored, 1st day he cooks some patty burger, 2nd day he planted some tomatoes and onions and pickles, the 3rd day, he made some mayonaise out off egg, the 4th day, he mixed some ketchup out of bananas, 5th day, he he made soil into bread.. 6th day, he was really getting bored because why does it have to take a week to make a cheeseburger.. so he called in Chuck Norris.. after a few minutes.. walah.. HE SAID LET THERE BE CHUCK NORRIS .. AND THEN THERE WAS CHEESEBURGER.. he realized that he really needs a week to make a cheeseburger..
