Where can I get housing assistance in philadelphia even though I'm working?

Im working full-time but I am still unable to afford to rent a house I am a single mother of 2. I have a place to stay but I would love to just have my own. I can make payments each month but just not no 500 a month type thing. So if anyone could help me i would appriciate it. Thanks in Advance

Section 8 is for low income people like yourself.

You apply with the housing authority.

However, rent would be 1/3 of your income and your child support.   For rent of 500 a month your income and child support would have to be under 1500 a month.
