My husband and i want to take a relaxing train ride and we live in Indy. We don't have to go to Chicago, so any and all ideas are totally welcome!!! thanks.

Try www.amtrak.com.  You can plan a trip without actually buying the tickets online.  You will probably have to pick up your tickets at the window.
