I need the schematics of the train tracks and tunnels in NYC including everything that was abandoned. Blueprints would be best. You dont need to find this for me just tell me where I can locate it, like a public documents bulding/center. Someone suggested I check out the department of buildings in lower manhattan but I dont know if they would have what im looking for. Please any information would be really helpful. Also anyone who might have this who i could get it from. I know it exists for construction purposes. Thanks.

  1. call the HSA  or   TSA  or  FBI.   I am sure the will see that you get what you need

  2. You probably cannot get this information since 9-11-2001.

  3. Hi for new york city transit try the transit museum in brooklyn. As for the others try the nyc city library on chambers street in lower manhattan across from the new dept. of ed.,near the corner of centre street.

  4. IHopefully you are not a terrorist. Sorry but that'was my first thought when reading your question

  5. Indeed, it is unlikely that you can obtain this information (at least current blueprint information) from one single resource and even if you could it is doubtful you would be allowed (at least the general public) because of the post-9/11 era (especially genuine blueprints).

As far as railroads are concerned, I say this because freight train timetables are no longer available (to the general public) for this very reason, increased security.  Having said that you may, indeed, be able to find these resources I am just guessing that it will be a long and lengthy process.

  6. I agree with the above responses; I don't believe this type of information would be available publicly.

Contact an urban exploration group in the NY area regarding specific tunnels, like the owners of industrialnewyork.com, or someone on the infiltration.org forum.

  7. be carefull the FBI could knock at you door soon asking those kind of questions, your question sounds fishy like your up to something.
