Where can I get money for selling quantities of used aluminium cans, plastic bottles, newspapers, etc?

Please do not suggest doing it for charity. I am talking business deals.

Take them to your local recycling dealer & you'll get paid per weight as far as the aluminum goes. The rest- bottles, newspapers- I don't think you can actually get money off of those, you just give them to a recycler.

You can take it to a scrap yard but they will not pay for it.....Not in England. They do in the USA, as my Son-in-law takes them after he sorts them. He then puts the money in a large bottle and in a year he has enough to pay all his expenses for a holiday. Another thing with doing that you never see cans thrown away in the streets...another filthy habit they have over here.
